What insurance do you take?
I am in network with Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, Medcost and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).
Can I get a superbill?
Absolutely! I am happy to provide superbills to folks wanting to use their out of network benefits.
What about self pay?
Yes, for folks not wanting to use their insurance, or who are uninsured, I do offer self-pay therapy for $120 per session. I also offer limited sliding scale slots through Open Path Psychotherapy Collective as well.
What in the world is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a neurobiologically based approach that evolved out of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). It is still a relatively new modality, having only been in use for the last 20 years, however can be a very powerful means of processing experiences - particularly when words get in the way. It doesn’t require much talking, as the foundation of the work is about the relationship and attunement offered by the therapist and focused mindfulness and so can take place in total silence. Brainspotting is something to be experienced rather than something to be explained. However, that being said there is powerful research emerging about its efficacy.
